Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Methods

Participants can complete their registration using one of the following payment options:

  • Credit and Debit Cards Through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover and much more)
  • PayPal
  • Mailed Check
  • Cash upon arrival

2. Payment Precedence

Players who pay online through Stripe or PayPal will have their spots reserved in the tournament first. If a player chooses to pay by mailed check, they are not eligible for a reserved spot until the check clears. If the check does not arrive or clear in time, and the tournament fills up with players who pay online, the player will lose their spot and may be cancelled or bumped from the tournament. RacknPlay is not responsible for any checks lost in the mail. Please refer to the refund policy for these cases

Players should be aware that even if a check is in the mail, they are not guaranteed a spot until it clears. If the tournament fills up before the check clears, the player will be bumped from the tournament. The tournament organizer, director and RacknPLay reserves the right to cancel any player whose payment has not cleared in time. In such cases, the check will not be processed.

3. Fees and Charges

Each payment method may include additional fees:

  • Stripe: $5.00 USD for gateway fee
  • PayPal: $5.00 USD for gateway fee
  • Mailed Checks: No additional fee, but checks must clear before the tournament date to confirm registration.
  • Cash: No additional fee, but payment must be made in full before participating.

4. Player List Display

By registering for a tournament, you agree that your name will be publicly displayed on the tournament player list for the tournaments you sign up for. This is done to ensure transparency and accurate tournament management.

5. Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy for details

6. Error Disclaimer

While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of tournament details, including dates and times, the organizer is not responsible for any errors or changes. It is the responsibility of each player to confirm the tournament schedule. The organizer is also not responsible for any travel expenses incurred due to changes, errors, or cancellations.

7. Director's Decisions

Tournament directors are responsible for managing the tournament, including but not limited to making decisions on match outcomes, player conduct, and rule enforcement. RackNPlay is not responsible for any decisions or actions carried out by the tournament directors, as we operate independently.

8. Third-Party System Dependencies

The tournament platform relies on third-party systems (such as payment gateways, streaming services, and other platforms) to operate. The organizer is not responsible for any outages, downtime, or failures of these third-party systems. Additionally, any technology updates or changes by these third-party providers that cause errors or issues with the tournament platform are not the responsibility of the organizer.

9. Internet Outages

The organizer is not responsible for any disruptions in service due to internet outages or connectivity issues on the part of players, tournament directors, or third-party service providers.

10. Right to Refuse Entry

The tournament organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any player at their discretion.

11. Agreement

By registering for a tournament, all players agree to these terms and conditions. Players who fail to adhere to these terms may forfeit their registration and any associated fees.

12. Right to Cancel Player Registration

The tournament organizer, director, and RacknPlay reserve the right to cancel any player's registration at their discretion. This may occur for various reasons, including but not limited to: abusive behavior, attempts to manipulate or exploit the system, or actions that disrupt the smooth operation of the tournament. We strive to maintain a fair, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all participants, and any actions that compromise this atmosphere may result in cancellation. Players are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the integrity of the tournament and of the sport

13. Right to Eject Players from the Tournament

The tournament director reserves the right to eject any player from the tournament for cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, or other disruptive behavior. This action can be taken at any time, including after the tournament has started, if these behaviors are observed. Players are expected to follow the rules and maintain a high standard of sportsmanship. Any violation of this may lead to immediate ejection from the tournament.

14. Player List and Confirmation

Seeing your name on the tournament player list page does not guarantee confirmation for the tournament unless you have received a confirmation email and have fully paid. Unpaid players will still appear on the player list but may be bumped if they remain unpaid. The only way to fully solidify your participation immediately is by completing the payment process. Players who are fully paid and confirmed will have a "$" icon next to their name on the player list.
